We are a locally owned and operated childcare facility that offers exceptional care for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K. Our clean facility has much to offer including a security system, two outdoor fenced in play yards, an indoor gross motor room, monthly enrichment programs, and an on-site library. Children in our program enjoy a routine of fun and safe structured learning activities as well as free time choices. Our developmentally age appropriate curriculum is mainly theme based, and incorporates and promotes the development of academic, social, physical, healthful, and emotional skills. This is obtained by providing a variety of experiences with open ended art, math, science, dramatic play, nutrition, health, language, cooking, stories, sensory play, music and computers.
This program is designed to provide opportunities for each child to build self esteem, self confidence and positive relationships. Our goal is to provide all of the children in our care, with a clean, safe, comfortable, loving environment where they can play and learn. Our approach to teaching can be described as a sharing of knowledge between child and adult, in a hands-on, child-directed atmosphere. Kidz Korner provides a high-quality early childhood program where the children are active learners in both a structured and child choice setting. The teachers will develop learning experiences and ask open-ended questions that encourage children to think and problem solve. They will nurture and develop the social, emotional, physical and intellectual stages of each child. The children are encouraged through every stage of their development to play, question, think for themselves, and verbalize their feelings; foster positive relationships with their peers and teachers, problem solve, explore and, through all of this, develop a lifelong love of learning.
